As a nonprofit organization, Aozora reinvests Academy tuition directly into our mission-driven programs.

Academy tuition supports dedicated teachers and staff, individualized Japanese language instruction, culturally rich curriculum, meaningful hands-on learning, and the broader Aozora mission of nurturing confident, curious, and caring global citizens.

 

Other Fees

Payment Plan Fee: $380

Late Fee: $80

When tuition payment is made after the due date, Tuition Late Fee will be charged.


Late Pickups: $1 per minute

Children must be picked up on time, or a Late Pick Up Fee will be charged for every minute late.

Academy Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy

Academy Programへのお申し込みは、年間を通したプログラム参加へのコミットメントとなります。

クラス開始日前までに退会される場合、一括払いで授業料をお支払いいただいたご家庭は、以下のいずれかをお選びいただけます。

  • 返金（事務手数料 $100 を差し引いた金額）

  • ファミリークレジット（事務手数料 $50 を差し引いた金額）

返金またはクレジット額は、お支払い済み金額を基準として、以下の通り適用されます。

  • クラス開始日の61日前以前：お支払い額の75％を返金またはクレジット

  • クラス開始日の31〜60日前：お支払い額の50％を返金またはクレジット

  • クラス開始日の30日前以降：返金・クレジット不可

お支払いプラン（Payment Plan）をご利用の場合、お申し込み完了後の返金・クレジットは一切できません。Payment Planは、ご家庭のご負担を軽減するために授業料を分割でお支払いいただけるオプションとして提供しております。そのため、Payment Planでのお申し込みは、お申し込み完了時点で正式確定となります。また、Payment Plan利用料は返金不可となります。

学年度開始後は、退会・欠席の理由に関わらず、返金・クレジット・残額支払いの免除はいたしかねます。

あらかじめご了承ください：

  • 病気による欠席に対する返金・振替はありません。

  • 天候不良、積雪、緊急事態、または政府機関による閉鎖措置等による休校についても返金はありません。

Enrollment in the Academy Program is a full school-year commitment.

If a parent or guardian withdraws a child before the first day of class, families who paid tuition in full may choose either:

  • A refund (subject to a $100 processing fee), or

  • A family credit (subject to a $50 processing fee)

Refunds or credits are based on the amount paid and issued as follows:

  • More than 60 days before the first day of class: 75% refund or credit

  • 31–60 days before the first day of class: 50% refund or credit

  • 30 days or fewer before the first day of class: No refund or credit

Families who choose the payment plan option are not eligible for refunds or credits after registration. The payment plan option is offered as a courtesy to allow tuition payments to be spread throughout the school year, and all payment plan enrollments are considered final. The payment plan fee is non-refundable.

Once the school year begins, no refunds, credits, or cancellation of remaining tuition payments will be provided regardless of withdrawal or attendance.

Please note:

  • No refunds or make-up days will be provided for absences due to illness.

  • No refunds will be issued for closures due to weather, snow, emergencies, or government mandat
