After School Program

For children born in 2021 to 2024

 

Welcome to our Japanese After-School Program

Aozora’s After-School Program is a fun and enriching experience for children ages 2 to 5 (born between 2021 and 2024) who are comfortable understanding Japanese.

We offer two types of classes:

  • Special Classes (for ages 3–5), designed to spark creativity and curiosity

  • Choice Time (for ages 2–4), where children enjoy free play while naturally becoming more familiar with the Japanese language

Each class runs for 45 minutes and is open to any child who can understand Japanese instruction.

Our program offers children a special after-school time to strengthen their Japanese skills, enjoy cultural experiences, and build friendships in a warm and supportive environment.

Extended care is available until 6:00 PM, and each session includes a homemade, healthy snack.

あおぞらアフタースクールプログラムへようこそ！
プログラムには、創造性や興味を広げスペシャルクラス（3−5歳）と、自由な遊びを通して日本語に親しむチョイスタイム（2−4歳）があります。いずれも４５分間のクラスで、日本語のクラス内容をある程度理解できるお子様であれば、どなたでも参加いただけます。

放課後に、日本語のスキルを自然に伸ばしながら、文化的な豊かさやお友達との交流を楽しめる、そんなたのしい時間を提供しています。
午後4時以降は、午後6時まで延長保育もご利用いただけます。毎回、手作りの健康的で美味しいおやつもご用意しています。


お子様がのびのびと学び、心はずませる時間を一緒に過ごしましょう。

Time

Drop Off: 3pm – 3:15pm
After School Class & Choice Time: 3:15pm – 4:00pm
Extended Care (Optional): 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Choice Time Only (3-4pm): $26
Extended Care only (4-6pm): $36
Choice Time and Extended Care (3-6pm): $62

Choice Time Drop-In registration and payment needs to be completed before 12PM on the requested day. Ideally, please give us at least 1-2 business day notice.

After payment for drop-in after-school care is made, no refunds or credits are issued.

Enrollment

After School Program Enrollment is by term.

  • Fall Term: (September - December 2026)

  • Winter Term: (January - March 2027)

  • Spring Term: (April - June 2027)

Students will be enrolled on a first-come first-served basis. We accept applications until all of the seats are filled. 10-12 children per class.

All of our After School classes are held in Japanese and are open to all children born in 2021 to 2024 who are able to understand the classroom instruction in Japanese.

アフタースクールは、学期毎のご登録になります。

  • 秋学期（2026年9月から12月）

  • 冬学期（2027年1月から3月）

  • 春学期（2027年4月から6月）

お申し込みをいただいた順番に登録手続きを進めます。定員に達した時点で、申込み受付を終了とさせていただきます。1クラス10-12名程度を目安にしています。

対象

2歳から5歳（2021年生まれから2024年生まれ）の、日本語での授業が理解できるお子様でしたら、どなたでも参加可能です。

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM CANCELLATION AND SCHEDULE CHANGE POLICY: Enrollment in the After-School Program is a commitment for the duration of each term (September–December, January–March, and April–June). If a parent or guardian withdraws a child before the first day of class, families who have paid tuition in full may choose one of the following options:

  • A refund (subject to a $100 processing fee), or

  • A family credit (subject to a $50 processing fee)

Refunds or credits are based on the amount paid and issued as follows:

  • More than 60 days before start of school year: 100% refund / 100% credit

  • More than 30 days before start of school year: 50% refund / 50% credit

  • More than 15 days before start of school year: 25% refund / 25% credit

  • Less than 14 days before start of school year: No refund or credit

  • After payment for drop-in after-school care is made, no refunds or credits are issued

Please note:

  • No refunds or make-up days will be provided for absences due to illness.

  • No refunds will be issued for closures due to weather, snow, emergencies, or government mandates.

FAMILY CREDIT: Family credit can be shared with siblings or other family members. Family credit needs to be used within 24 months. Family credit cannot be paid out in cash.
